Computing tonight's sky for this exact spot…
Joshua Tree is an International Dark Sky Park and arguably the most accessible truly dark sky in Southern California. Hidden Valley and Quail Springs are favorite setups: flat pads, low horizons, and desert air that delivers superb transparency most of the year. Smart-telescope owners should target fall through spring, summer daytime heat lingers into the night and can add sensor noise.
